Working Holidays

June, July, August 2026

Project A: Trans & Non-Binary Social Housing Initiative, supported by Private Investment.

Project B: Trans & Non-Binary Emergency Shelter, provided in association with BPBH

We have just purchased 2 properties on the West Coast, about 1hr from Glasgow, with heaps of potential. We need to renovate for them to become the vital community assets that we know they could be, but we firmly believe that, with the continued support and cooperation of our allies, that this will be the first of many locations with the capacity to provide essential services to the community.

This is where you come in...

We need a few extra pairs of hands over Summer 2026 to deliver this ambitious project on-time and on-budget. We are currently accepting applications from both skilled and unskilled individuals, couples and small groups that would be interested in swapping a few hours of their skills and labour each day, in return for a safe, warm place to stay, breakfast and dinner - with all other time yours to explore this beautiful corner of Scotland. You can even bring your house-trained pets along for the adventure!

Apply Here!

Join our renovation team for anything between 3 and 14 days in June, July and August 2026.

In return for an anticipated 4-6 hours work each day, we are able to provide collection from, and drop-off to, our nearest train station, a safe and secure accommodation in shared apartment for the duration of your stay, with breakfast and dinner included each day to all guests. Anticipated general tasks include:

- Ripping up carpets

- Knocking down walls

- Clearing debris

- Swinging a hammer

- Painting

- Building Furniture

If you are a skilled labourer with tools, or a regular working guest with a van we could make use of,  then we are also willing to reimburse sensible and pre-approved travel expenses. All material costs covered. Skilled jobs to include:

- The fitting of two shower rooms and a bathroom

- The installation of kitchen units

- Brick and Chimney-stack work

- Electrical re-wiring

- Fire alarm system install

- Secure entry system install

- Staircase re-location

- Replacing Windows

We are unable to assist with costs associated with passports or visas for international applicants.
