Esse House hosted a wonderful community trip to the Isle of Arran, bringing together members of the gender‑diverse community for a relaxed, nature‑focused getaway. The event offered a calm, welcoming alternative to the busier Pride season while still celebrating connection, joy and queer community. Participants travelled to Arran together, meeting at the designated ferry point before making their way across the water as a group. Once on the island, the weekend unfolded at an easy pace, giving everyone the freedom to explore, rest, and take part in activities as they wished.
As with all Esse House events, participation in activities was optional, and guests were encouraged to follow their own pace. Some joined for the full weekend, while others came for a single days of sunshine, sea air and community.
Attendees were asked to bring their own essentials—such as suitable clothing, snacks, water, and any personal items they needed—while Esse House provided guidance, structure and support throughout the trip.
The event remained a guest‑list‑only gathering to ensure safety, comfort and community integrity.
The Arran trip was a warm, memorable experience that strengthened connections, offered space for rest, and celebrated the joy of being together in a beautiful island setting.
